Spring  2022 Application Dates

MOVE-IN INFORMATION 

Housing & Residence Life is establishing a carefully organized move-in process spread out over several days to follow public health safety guidelines. In order to provide a socially-distanced and efficient Move-In experience, please review the following updates:

 

• Per University guidelines, all students and their guests will be required to provide negative Covid-19 test results dated at least 72 hours prior to your move-in date or proof of full vaccination (Moderna/Pfizer: Two Shots, Johnson & Johnson: One Shot). Students will not be allowed to move in without receiving a health clearance upon arrival to campus.
• Limited assistance will be available. Bring your own dolly/hand truck to assist with your move-in.
• We encourage you to limit the number of people helping you to two (2) Move-In assistants. Please do not bring anyone with you who may be sick or considered at risk.
• Per local and University guidelines, all individuals will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the move-in process.
• Please consider reducing the number of personal belongings you bring with you to campus. Doing so will help ensure you have a quick and easy unloading process.

 

If you would like to view your room assignment and roommate information, please use these steps:

 

1. Visit your JSU PAWS account and select “Enter Secure Area.”

2. Enter your J# (ex. J00000000) and Pin #, which is defaulted as your birthdate (ex. 010118).

3. Select the “Student” tab at the top of the page. Then, select the “Housing” link.

4. After selecting the “Housing” link, you will select, “THD: JSU Housing Self-Service.”

5. After selecting “THD: JSU Housing Self-Service,” you will be directed to the THD Housing Self-Service Portal where you will need to enter your login information.

6. Your login information will be as follows:

Username: one\J# (ex. one\J00000000)

     Password: NetID (Must set-up in your PAWS account)

7. Then, you will be prompted to log in to the Self-Service Portal with the following info:

Username: J-number (ex. J00123456)

     Password: NetID (Must set-up in your PAWS account)

8. You will be directed to your own personal Student Housing Portal. Once there, you will scroll down to the section labeled “Assignments.”

9. In the “Assignments” section, you will find your assigned residence hall/room number and your assigned roommates.
