New Student Orientation (NSO) Fees
$100.00 (First Time Freshman-In Person)
$35.00 (Transfer/Readmit-In Person)
$25.00 (Online)
$50.00 (Guest Fee)
(Orientation fees are non-refundable)
The NSO(New Student Orientation) fee covers all expenses for the orientation program. You will receive meals, a registration swag packet and a JSU T-Shirt. New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students. NSO fees are non-refundable.

Our New Student Orientation provides important information that will help you begin your successful academic experience at Jackson State University. All newly admitted students must complete New Student Orientation. Some learning outcomes you can expect for NSO includes:
