The Office of Student Organizations
at Jackson State University provides services and programs that
are essential to the intellectual, cultural, social and moral development
of students. The Office of Student Organizations encourages students
to realize their potential as individuals and as prepared, enlightened,
responsible members of an increasingly complex and diverse global
society. As a partner in the educational process at an urban university,
Student Organizations are vital to the institution’s mission “to
guide students in acquiring the knowledge and developing the skills,
understandings, appreciations, and attitudes which are essential
to general, liberal, and professional education.”
