Academic Spring Visitation Day
Academic Spring Visitation Day is held in the spring of each year
and is designed to give a serious academic overview of the Jackson
State University environment. Students and their parents are
updated on academic expectations, degree programs, scholarships,
financial aid, student life, housing and academic advisement
as they make the transition to college life.
Students have the
opportunity to visit with the professors from their respective
academic departments as a preview to the admission
process at Jackson State. This day is usually reserved for students
who have demonstrated academic excellence throughout their high
school or community college careers or event and it is by invitation
only.
